So now that the Oscars are over and we’re all done with celebrating Leo’s first Oscar win (Yay!), let’s get down to business – who wore what! 🙂 Now there are a lot of award functions, even in Hollywood – but we all know Oscars is the real deal! And this year too, the stars sparkled, wow’ed and shimmed down the red carpet in the most stunning gowns and dresses! Couture gowns and the shiniest of diamonds – all were on display!

So let’s start with this year’s Red Carpet looks with our very own Priyanka Chopra! Now, have we mentioned on these pages how much we admire her? We love her for her ambition and her zeal! Her accomplishments have made us all proud and this year all eyes were on Ms. Chopra and we expected her to wow us! And she did!

Wearing a Zuhair Murad see-through white gown with bold burgundy lip colour was our very own Bollywood Queen!

Normally, we’d say a plunging neckline and a tigh-high slit in the same dress would be a no-no. But Taylor Swift makes it work! And how! There’s sexiness written all over this gown!

Golden glittery gown is probably the safest route to take when you know you’ll be walking the red carpet at the Oscars!

Not an instant favorite, but pale, dainty and very very feminine, accessorized with just the right amount of black, we loved this look of Emma Roberts!

Instead of opting for the more common golden glittery route, Selena Gomez wore a metallic silver gown from Louis Vuitton. Golden or not, glittered she did nevertheless!

Fashion looks done, now let’s get on to hairstyles seen at Oscars!

GLAM PONYTAILS

Oscars is not only about the couture gowns and shiny jewelry, the stars spend a lot of moolah on their make-up as well! This year at the Oscars, the beauty game was as strong, maintaining classic Hollywood glam but with a hint of stark edge.

Beauty Trends At Oscars

When it came to makeup, this year, we saw Lady Gaga go the glitter route with her rose gold eyes. Olivia Wilde sprinkled stardust shimmer on her lids, both pairing it with glossy nude lips.

And while Jennifer Lawrence rimmed her eyes with black kohl to break the softness of her muted make-up.

Then there was the ultimate bold lip—a beautiful toned-down berry on homegirl Priyanka Chopra, a glossy coral on Reese Witherspoon and a deep pink on Brie Larson.
